Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is reported to improve camera features

Recently there is a report that both version of the Galaxy S6 will receive the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update that will bring significant improvements in the camera of both devices.

SamMobile reported that the sources said that Samsung has been working on a big software update that will be sent to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The camera update is identical with what HTC One M9 got that improved the photo quality.

T-Mobile took the action last week. The carrier rolled out the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge via OTA. While, according to Christian Today, the user of XDA developer, Eduardo Mera which also known as Sunderwear shown the video of the Samsung phone that is running on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. By upgrading to the 5.1.1 version, the handset will experience a very big jump, since currently the handset is running on 5.0.2 version.

The firmware affected significant changes on the handset. For instance: when the Galaxy S6 Edge updated the bootloader of the device, and repaired the memory leak of the previous version of Android Lollipop OS. Another change brought by the 5.1.1 Lollipop is Guest Mode, which allows other users to access the device, but the data of the owner will be protected. Guest Mode is useful to be implemented if you want to save your own apps and messages. Moreover, there is also Kids Mode feature that allows the children access the phone safely.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not confirmed whether the current flagship device will get the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop or not.
