It is reported that Verizon Wireless has rolled out the update of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop software as the newest operating system in Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units.

It is stated by Verizon Wireless that the update has a new feature of Caller Name ID. This feature will allow the users of Samsung Galaxy S6 to screen calls. They can also identify the callers without known numbers. Indeed, to enjoy this new service, the users should enable first the Advanced Calling feature.

After the update is activated within the Smartphone, the users are given an option to turn off the device’s parallax “wallpaper motion effect.” Another option is provided to activate the unit’s live wallpaper options, especially for the lock screen.

The icon of Mobile Data is no longer disappearing from the interface of Quick Panel. The users also no longer have to struggle with problems of predictive text and auto correction in their keypad.

In the recent update, the exposure values of camera can be adjusted from the camera’s viewfinder. What the users have to do is just pressing and moving the viewfinder’s slider up and down.

In this new feature, any callers whose the names and numbers are saved to the device’s Contacts list will be identified and shown in the Smartphone’s call log tab. Any new callers can be added to the Contacts list. In order to make this feature more interesting for the users, there is an option to select the picture of the caller.

Surprising news is about the scope of Verizon Wireless network. As many of the users of Verizon often complained, they often have no service when traveling to Puerto Rico. In the recent update, the problems no longer exist.
