How to Disable Automatic firmware updates of Android in Samsung Galaxy S6
Samsung Galaxy S6 is designed to automatically checks for updates of the Android software. By doing that, it aims to ensure the users that they use the newest version of Android.
However, there have been many experiences that becoming the first users of the updates is not so good. This is because usually, the first version of updates will have design changes, missing functions, error messages etc. this is why, sometimes, it is better if we are not to automatically download the updates.
Here, we will show you how to disable automatically searches for new Android firmware updates on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
What you have to do is go to: Home Screen –> Menu –> Settings –>About device –> Software Update. After that, the display will present “Automatic update”. Just tap from “On” to “Off” on that menu.
After that, your Samsung galaxy S6 will no longer automatically check for new Android firmware updates.
