There are two different ways of how to use Multi-Window on the Galaxy S6:

  1. Split screen
    This is the known version of the Multi-Window feature. By using this feature, you can show the app on the top of the screen while another app at the bottom.
    To activate this feature you should tap on the left soft key button of the Samsung Galaxy S6. You will see the application window appears with all the apps you have opened last time. Each app is in a preview-screen in which the upper right corner two symbols can be found.
    Tap on the icon with the two squares, this icon represents the split screen. For example: you display WhatsApp at the upper part of the screen, and at the lower part of the screen you can use other apps or settings as usual.
  2. Pop-up View
    This feature is started from the Task Manager. You need to press once more on the left soft key of the Samsung Galaxy S6. You will see the list of apps that you have used before. Tap on an app quite longer until the app window can be placed on the display. Now, you can perform multiple apps on the screen of your Samsung Galaxy S6.
