Rumored a 3000mAh battery will be used in Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus

Up to now, there is still so many rumors on how and what is the spec of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus.

One site named Sammobile reported that it has a hot news from insider today. According to them, the upcoming Samsung handset will be about 151 mm tall and 73 mm wide. More importantly, according to them, the Galaxy S6 edge Plus will use a 3000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus

As we have known, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus is previously rumored to be 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85mm. the display will be about a 5.5-inch. Of course, the information got by Sammobile is not in line with the dimensions mentioned above, suggesting that the HW dimensions are closer to 151 x 73 mm.

Originally, Galaxy S6 edge is a handset that integrates a 5.1-inch display, measures 142.1 x 70.1 x 7 mm. If we consider the rumored dimensions of 151 mm in height and 73 mm in width, we can calculate that it is almost impossible for the Galaxy S6 edge Plus to feature a 5.5-inch display. This is, of course, if we consider that the Galaxy Note 4, which integrates a 5.7-inch display, measures 153.5 x 78.6 mm.

Reports from Sammobile is unfortunately do not mention the thickness of the upcoming handset. We can calculate that the larger footprint is still enough to accommodate a larger battery without an increase in thickness, as the sources also claim that the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus will use a 3000mAh battery, which is a slight upgrade from the 2600 mAh battery of the Galaxy S6 edge,

In the mean time, we also still note that rumors say that the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus will use a 16MP primary camera with OIS, a 5MP secondary shooter on the front, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, and 32GB of integrated storage space,

For us, it is almost impossible to tell which is among those rumors that are accurate enough. So, what we can do is just wait and see, and please not to be skeptical about the specs and dimensions of the next Samsung galaxy S6 edge Plus.
